Problems with Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11 and Windows Live Writer 2011?

imageDo you use Dragon NaturallySpeaking 11 and Windows Live Writer 2011?

Well, you might have noticed a small problem with the dication in to Windows Live Writer. Is it constantly backing up 9 characters, or overwriting like every where you don't want it to as you're putting efforts in to dicating an article? Well, I was too..

I was quick to think that the issue was with Windows Live Writer 2011, but I was incorrect. I mean there's another issue with Windows Live Writer and Dragon NaturallySpeaking, but this one was worse.

…and there's a solution.

If you're using an older version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking you won't have this problem, but I noticed that the new Dragon NaturallySpeaking [v11] handles thing differently with HTML applications. It's supposed to be more robust… and it's, but when you're trying that hard to be awesome— sometimes you jack stuff up.

anyway…

Go in to Dragon NaturallySpeaking and options…

Deselect the options for working with HTML. This will require you to restart Dragon NaturallySpeaking, but it should be okay.

If you use the HTML portion of Dragon NaturallySpeaking.. I don't know what to tell you; these two functions clash. And if you're a blogger and use Dragon NaturallySpeaking to blog— this might take front stage for you.

If not already, using Dragon NaturallySpeaking to blog is an awesome way to blog and get a lot done fast. I've been using Dragon NaturallySpeaking for about 6 years; it's awesome.

I hope this helps...

Thank you,
